Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Husband filed for divorce and child custody of son in different parish where I live.

I cannot afford an attorney and can't find pro bono help. Can I represent myself?

Dear LawGuru Friend,

The answer to your question of whether or not

you can represent yourself is yes. However, I

would not recommend your doing so. E-mail

me you e-mail address to [email protected],

and I will get back with you and see if I can be

of help.

Sincerely,

Hardy Parkerson, Atty.
