What to do about the wife?

I have a friend that has been married 7 years and have two young children. His wife sometimes leaves for days at a time and then comes back, for the sake of the children he has done all he can do to keep the family together. Now she has kicked him out of his own home and did not let him take anything but the children, she does not want anything to do with the children, they hinder her party's. He went to get there stuff and she called the law and they refused him entry. He now lives in a 8' by 12' 1 bedroom trailor for him and the kids and does not know what to do?? Does he have any legal rights to put the kids back in their home??

Yes.

He needs to get a lawyer and file for divorce. As part of the divorce he should ask the court to give him use of the family home. Most judges would favor the kids living in the home.
