my son who is mentally ill is in jail.last friday night he was given another inmates medication when he told the deputy that it was not his meds the deputy told him to shut up and take the meds or he would be written up. he took the meds and later passed out in the floor. he was taken to hospital and checked out ok also on or about april 14 my son hung himself with a pair of socks he was blue when the deputy cut him down and began cpr he was never checked by a dr I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS CAUSE FOR ACTION AGAINST THE JAIL.

An action is always possible but is difficult. You need to seek counsel and perhaps obtain copies of any recordings which may be made routinely in the jail.
