Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

Wal-Mart Shopper Injured

I recently placed a question about a spill that occured within a Wal-Mart store. It was answered as if I were an employee. I was shopping and the store was evacuated because a chemical had been released. I advised by the store to take myself and my 10 month old son to the hospital. They are now refusing to pay the bill. Which at the time they said it would be covered. What do I need to do?

Re: Wal-Mart Shopper Injured

I am assuming you and your child were injured as a result of the chemical spill which you describe. Have made a demand upon Walmart for payment of the medical expenses? Upon their refusal, you may seek an atty's help in obtaining

reimbursement of your medical bills and other compensation that may be due you and your child if the injuries you sustained may be proved due to Walmart's negligence.
