My brother is being evicted because of negative background check. What can he do in order to be able to rent another apartment?

He should contact the credit bureaus and find out what is on his credit record. He can correct the problems or dispute any with which he disagrees. He may want to try to find housing which doesn't require a clear credit history orarrange to have a third responsible party sign the lease also. However, if he knows what is causing the problem with his credit, he can discuss it with the rental company and hopefully work around it.
