Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
In my father's will he is leaving me and my brother his estate. He specifically states what properties and items each of us get. We have 4 other siblings he is estranged from for many years and does not speak to them. He has left each of them $ 10.00 cash in his will. My question: I have 1 son. If I die before my father , will my son get my share. Someone told me no, that it goes back into the estate and my siblings have the right to it. Thank You,

Unless your father's will says otherwise, if you die before he does, you share will go yo your children.

I agree with Maguire. If all it says is you get this and that and you predecease your father, then your children share equally in this and that if the will has not been changed.
