will or estate

I have six kids,five different mothers,been divorce once(since 1993),married since 1995,have two kids with present wife of 25 yrs. both parents are police officers,with over 25 years each,what is best a will or an estate, if one of us should pass or both,,,we have a good bit of money invested and we own a house?

No matter what happens, there will be an estate. I think you misunderstand the term. You need estate planning.

I believe you should meet with a lawyer who handles a substantial amount of estate planning. That lawyer can guide you to a plan that suits your needs & draft the documents that make your decisions binding.
