Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maine

do i have any rights

financial advisors/institution upon receiving the will/trust from the lawyer declined to work with the estate evidently now it will be sent to probate someone will be appointed and the heirs will have to agree on it. Could you explain this process and as an heir (grandchild) what rights do I have to be informed about what is going on if any and are we talking a process like this taking months or years?

Re: do i have any rights

I would be happy to answer your question but it would likely require some information gathering-type questions on my part to determine exactly what the situation is, and that process is best done if we speak on the telephone, which I am happy to do at no cost to you if you contact me- thanks- Jerome
