dentist bill

Back in 2000 I were seeing a dentist. he did my cleaning and other work. My insurance paid them their require fee and they send me a bill. insurance advise them I am not responsible for this bill. now 2009 I am receiving a bill from them plus they are treating to send it to collection agents if I don't paid it. please tell me what to do

You need to talk to your dentist and inform him what your insurance company told you. He may have made a mistake by billing you. If possible, your insurance company should put the information it has in writing to you so you can provide the same to the dentist.
