Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

If you in error pay for a phone card that does not work on your phone are you entitled to an exchange from the provider or dealer? They say once the card is activated at

the Register they have no controll to stop someone from using it.

I say, if I bought the card from a store and returned it by way of a store Manager

why would this be an issue. Is this a law and can these companies really get away

with haveing you pay for a service they can not provide.?

There's no law that says a store has to have a return policy. It doesn't sound like you are going to sue over a phone card, so maybe consider letting it go and doing a little more homework before you purchase the next card as you obviously have access to the internet.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
