Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

I signed a contract with a childcare provider for two weeks of care, however, I was unable to provide the medical forms required to begin care because of a doctor situation. Therefore I had to resort to another option. Now the provider is trying to take me to small claims court for payment of the two weeks of care when services were not provided. Can this contract be null and void because I was unable to meet the stipulations required before beginning care?

You may very well have a defense to the claim, but you should consider having a lawyer review the contract to let you know for sure.
