Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

I was a jutor on a case where the judge instructed us to only use logic to determine the defendant's guilt. many jurors felt that even if, logically, the guy seemed guilty, he did not deserve to be convicted of such extreme charges based on the evidence we heard. though Maryland state laws require the judge to tell us we have the right to use "jury nullification" to determine a verdict, he failed to inform us of such. If I and other jurors knew of that right, we would still be deliberating. The accused could face the next 40 years of his life in prison. We were badically onstricted that we had to convict him based on the law and not based on justice. There was no mention of justice. I am angry and I feel my rights, the righrs of my fellow jurors and the rights of the defendant were violated. How can I proceed in getting his case retrialed or is that even possible?

Once you render your verdict, and leave the jury box, the case, as far as you are concerned, is over.
