You can only "get it off your record" if did not result in conviction. The process is called expungement and it costs $30. You can get the forms in the Clerk's office.

If you were convicted, you can't get it off your record. If you were not convicted you can go to the courthouse where the charges were filed, ask for an expungment form, fill in the blanks and file it. It's a one page form, and it doesn't take long to complete. You will get in order over the mail when it has been expunged. Good Luck!
