Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
In the year two thousand and six the supream court past a law makeing it mandatory that all register child sex offenders be registered for lik. My question is if someone was sentance two ten year of registration six year before the 2006 rulling is this person subected to the new law of life time regitration . Please responed

The Supreme Court may not pass laws. Instead it decides whether laws are valid. The Maryland legislature did amend the requirements. The best person to ask is the lawyer who originally represented the person who was convicted.
