Legal Question in DUI Law in Maryland

DUI in Maryland; caught driving in PA

My fiancee got a DUI in Maryland and currently has a suspended license. He got caught driving in Pa by an undercover cop who just followed him and pulled him over stating that he followed him at 85 mph. No Radar was used. I was just wondering what could happen to him. I know that in Pa there is an automatic 90 jail time for driving with a DUI suspended license. But his DUI was in Maryland.

Your finance also faces jail time in Maryland for any charges under which the court has retained jurisdiction. Namely, if he is still under the Drinking Driver Program in Maryland, a violation of probation may issue. Depending on the factors of his case, and how it is being handled in Maryland, he may need an attorney in Maryland. MVA matters will likely arise in both states. At a minimum, he should seek representation for his trial in Pa.
