Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Should I file an exception for atty fees

So my ex's motions for contempt (deinal of visitation) and modification of CS were denied. I had asked for award of atty fees when we filed motion to compel. The motion was granted but said award of atty fees will be assessed in the future. Ex gave some of the info on the last day and some on the day of court hearing. The award of atty fees was never addressed. Should I file and exception to at least get an answer regading award of atty. fees, especially since his motions were denied. The judge was pretty pissed that he filed such petty and unecessary motions when he was the cause of the incidents, not me. Including when he said he wasnt showing up to a visit, but showed up and called the police on me. I didnt show because he told me he wasnt coming.

Typically the judge deals with attorney fees at the final divorce hearing. If you incurred attorney fees, your attorney should have you testify at the final hearing as to the amount you've incurred (submitting invoices) and then he/she can address the matter to the court.
