Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

Can I sue my spouse? We have been seperated since May 2010. She owes me money for child care and storage fees that amount to $700.00. She lives in Kentucky and I live in Maryland. Can I file a suit against her?

If you are contemplating divorce, you can file for that in MD. Within the case, you can ask for custody and child support, but only going forward. Even if you don't want to file for divorce you can petition for custody and support for your child. As for your current claims, unless there was a written agreement you would be wasting your time.
