Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

My husband came here from Africa on a visitors visa. it expired 3 years ago he had to sign a voluntary deportation. he has to return to Africa now. What can I do to keep him here. We married for love not because I'm a US citizen. I need help desperately.

I suggest you contact a good immigration lawyer immediately. You do not say when he was granted voluntary departure, but if he received the maximum term, he has or had four months approximately to leave. If that period has not expired yet, there is a possibility to reopen the case; however, there are going to be consequences, so you need to know immediately what you can or cannot do.
