Auto Accident/Victims Rights/Insurance Claims

I was recently involved in an auto accident/hit by other vahicle/other person cited and charged with accident. The Insurance company wants to total my car, I have to much money invested in it to let them total it or accept low cruuent market value, what should I do or whats the process for filling suit

The insurance company is not required to pay more than the value of your car (plus 5% for sales tax to cover the cost of you acquiring another vehicle). You are also entitled to a reasonable "loss of use" claim if you need to rent a substitute vehicle which is usually limited to the time it would take to repair your vehicle.
