Were there exigent circumstances, like a fleeing felon? Did they have a warrant to search the whole house? Did they have a warrant to search your room specifically? Did the property owner grant them permission to enter the house? There are a lot of circumstances that would allow the police to enter your room without a warrant and those circumstances would depend on the facts of the situation.
