Teen driving on learners w/o adult supervision

I have a 17 year old daughter who is driving a car that I bought for her with a learners. Her mom has allowed her to drive the car w/o adult supervision when I have asked her not to. She doest live with me and she isnt insured. What can happen to her and me if she gets into an accident and hurts someone?

This is a very, very dangerous situation for both you and your daughter. Until she gets her license, she can't be covered under your policy. Actually, even then she might not be eligible for coverage unless she is living with you; check with your broker. But in the meantime, if she has an accident, you could be sued under a theory known as "negligent entrustment", and you probably won't be covered for this under your policy.

Hopefully you still have title to the vehicle, in which case you need to take possession of it until this matter is resolved.
