Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

My sister and I will get our mothers home when she dies. If my sister wants to live there would she be responsible for all expenses, taxes, homeowners, electric, phone, etc? I don't feel I should pay anything, as I own my own home and have my expenses. My sister is single and rents. Could she pay me a reasonable rent, if so, would I have to help her with the expenses?

If you inherit the property 50/50, you share ALL expenses 50/50. If you don't want the expenses, and your sister refuses to pay the total amount, then sell your interest in the home to your sister or someone else.
