Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

A friend recently died leaving in place a will from 1998 stating her child Krystina was entitled to everything with the grandmother being the trustee until the young adult turns 25. the child is now 20 does this include the life insurance provided by my company to this friend?

If your friend was a beneficiary under your life insurance, she wouldn't get that money until you die. It is not part of her estate at her death if she did not have or own it when she died. If she did not have a will, her heirs at law will inherit the property she had at the time of her death pursuant to Maryland law.
