Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

I was injured on the job in 2007, had to have surgery on my wrist in 2009, now the insurance company wants to settle for $3500, without a rating. Would a rating make a difference in settlement+++?

It well might, depending on what the rating is. You should definitely consult with an experienced workers' compensation attorney and have your doctor rate your wrist for permanent impairment. Depending on that rating, you may well be entitled to a better settlement.
