Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

Save home in MA

I was trying to grow my business but it did not work out. I took serious personal loans to finance the company. Is there a way to protect the home (mortgaged) for my family?

The short answer is: yes...but....

There's a lot of variables here: when did you buy your home, how much equity is there, are there any one issues related to the "serious personal loans." The only way you can really get the best answer you can rely on is to be able to provide these details to an attorney (who might have some other questions).

Good luck!
