Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

re-call on a car

I purchased a 2003 volkswagen and it had a re call on the roof, which I found out about after the purchase. What recourse do I have. They are in the process of fixing it but I have been without a car for over 2 weeks..Should they have told me about the re call before I bought it?? I know I would not have purchased the vehicle if I had been told about the recall, I had the car for a few days, when I could not put the top down. Thanks for your help --name removed--

More information is needed to responsibly reply to your questions. Consider retaining an attorney and provide him with all documents pertaining to the purchase and the recall notices. i.e. who knew what, when etc.?
