Re: Mechanic's lein The mechanics lien law is a very complicated, strictly-enforced procedure; even lawyers often fail to comply with its necessary requirements. Missing or blowing one of the lien law's many, staggered requirements automatically results in the dissolution of the lien as a matter of law, and nothing can bring a dissolved lien back. In other words, do NOT try filing and perfecting a mechanics lien yourself.
