Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

A patient requested that I deduct $30 a month from her account to pay off her $2000 balance. Im in Massachusetts. What do I do to protect the practice?

I'm not sure what you mean by protect the practice. You are not obligated to take $30.00 a month. You have the right to demand and sue for the entire balance.
