Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I have a bail slip and i am the defendant and my mother is the suriety. When i was arrested she got my cash in my wallet and brought it to the police station and she was told to put herself as suriety but it was my money. Her and i are now not talking and i desperately need that money when the next court date arrives. My question is even though i am not the suriety can i still recieve the bail as the defendant?? thank you for your time Michael P Methuen MA 01844
