Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I was delayed and then prevented from obtainning re-trial documents. I was taken outside and stabbed with a long handcuff key that has a consealed sharp object on one end and the key on the other side. I was taken to court and after four years and three diffrant lawyers the judge dissmissed the case against me. I'd like to return with a lawsuet but I am unemployed and i am worried about the evidence I can use to prove my case.
