Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Joining law enforcement with a CWAF

Ive been looking into becoming a park ranger, I would have to go through the same background check that any other police officer would. I had been charged with possession of a class D substance on two occasion. Once having all charges dropped, and another having the charges CWAFed. Although I was not convicted would these charges prevent me from passing a background check?

I do not know whta the criteria is for the job. If one set of charges were dismissed and the other set CWOFed and later dismissed, then that would suggest you were never CONVICTED of a crime.

It depends how long ago those cases were resolved.
