there was an empty plastic drink thrown out the car window.

we went to court filled out paper work for a free lawyer, was told im 300 neg every mnth,as i am on unemployment right now was told by the judge we qualified but would have to pay 200 to the clerk right now which we didnt have 200 so we were told to sign a paper to waive legal counsel and to call the prob. dept to make a request for a lawyer and to make payment arrangements.they told me to make out a request and to come before the judge which i did the judge said he would not hear it untill the pre trial hearing.while my son was in court the judge threatened to put him in juvenile hall for 2 months for this offense.this is a kid who has a b average and has never been in trouble before,is he being charged with a criminal off for littering and where do you think i stand as far as going to this ptetrial hearing with no lawyer i can not afford to hire one

Re: Juvenile Delinquency

You may have misunderstood thejudge. If you haveno capacity to pay, you may for a reevaluation of your financial situation, ask for more time to pay, ask for community service for your son.
