neighbor shooting offf fireworks in the middle of the night

i have a neighbor who seems to enjoy shooting off fireworks in the middle of the night when most of us are asleep. He has a party and of course they are drinking which then leads to the fireworks. His fireworks run the gamut from firecrackers to big bottle rockets. He always seems to aim the rockets toward our home and when they explode the sound startles us from sleep and the night sky is like daylight. What can we do ?

Truthfully, you should start by talking to him. Once a neighbor calls the police on another, a feud ensues that will never stop until one moves away or dies. However, if you insist on using the law, simply call the police. Disturbing the peace and noise ordinances are probably violated by his actions.
