Re: dwi in Connecticut

It depends what happens in Connecticut. If you lose your right to operate a vehicle in CT you will lose it for the same amount of time in Mass (this includes your CDL). You should hire a lawyer. a .09 is low, and you might want to fight it. That being said, I'm not sure of Connecticut law.

Also, if your license is suspended in Connecticut you want to make sure that the Mass Registry knows because they will not start your license suspension until they are notified.

You should get a criminal defense attorney in Connecticut familiar and expert in DWI to deal with the case. That is your first goal. Mass can reciprocally suspend your license for any conviction or suspension in Ct.
