Legal Question in DUI Law in Massachusetts

suspended license

I just recently caught a case for a oui. They charged me with my 2nd oui and operating on a suspended/revoked license. I wanted to know what are the minimum and maximum penalties if caught operating while license was suspended or revoked?

Re: suspended license

You face serious penalties if convicted. OUI cases can often be won, but you need to proceed carefully with experienced counsel to maximize the chances of success. You have a lot at stake and on the line. Feel free to contact me directly to discuss preparing and presenting an effective defense, if you wish. If not, best of luck.

Re: suspended license

You should retain an attorney and confide only in that attorney who can review your entire record and advise as to the possible consequences which can potentially involve incarceration if convicted. Good luck!

Re: suspended license

You can go to jail for 60 days min mandatory if you are caught operating a motor vehicle after your license is suspended for OUI. Get a very good OUI attorney and DO NOT DRIVE WHILE YOUR LIC IS SUSPENDED FOR OUI. There is no allowance for CWOF (continued without a finding) or a Suspended Sentence. It is very simple: you drive after Susp for OUI, you do 60 days in if cought & convicted! Call if you don't already have good counsel.
