My mother put her house in my and my sisters name

Since I am in a dispute with my sister and my mother has turned against me, can they legally get my name off of my mohters house without my knowledge? Her house is in my and my sisters name but it is my mothers as long as she is alive. Thay are not letting me aware of any other financial matters and I am wondering if they can take me name off of the house legally without my concent.

No. If you are not certain that your name is still on the property, you can go to the Registry of Deeds and look for all the deeds under your name or your mother's address. If you find out that a deed has been changed without your knowledge, you should speak with an attorney with a background in real estate litigation.

However, if they want to sell the house and you refuse to sell, they could go to court on a Petition to Partition.

No. You can check to see if they have removed your name from the property by checking the deeds to the property on line or at the Registry of Deeds.

The only way they can get your name off the deed if it was recorded is to Petition the Probate Court and seek to revoke the gift of the remainder interest.
