Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I had a child 8 years ago, I then married her mother which was followed by a divorce 9 months later. I then began paying child support and have joint custody. Due to a medical emergency I just found out there her illness is a heridtary one I've discovered I'm not the biological father, I never even knew this was a possibility. Do I have legal rights to get back child support ive paid?

i doubt it; you can be deemed to be a defacto parent.

Consult a lawyer for a review of the case or call me .

probably not but retain an attorney to determine whether you can stop future support payments to be assumed by the actual biological father, if known. Good Luck!
