Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

family law

I have just discovered a paragraph in my divorce agreement which has not been honored by my spouse. It states that $2800 and 100 shares of Chrysler stock were to be available to my daughter. This was 20 years ago. It states that these funds are held by my husband's attorney as trustee. I assumed she received these funds years ago for educational and medical purposes as stated. She did not. What can be done now to obtain these funds, now valued at over 10,000 dollars?

Contact that attorney (write a letter and send first-class/certified mail) and if you cannot locate him/her, contact the Boston Board of Bar Overseers to locate this individual. If you reach him/her and you receive know answers you need to file a complaint with the Board!

Good luck!

Sincerely, Maria Murber
