Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband took me to court last year to set up visitation order. It is set up for him to pick up the kids on Friday at 4 and drop them home Sunday at 6. the past two months he comes and goes as he pleases. I have let him do it with minimal fighting. However now its at the point where he just shows whenever he feels like it and drops them back whenever he feels like it. I cant just sit at home by the door to make sure he is happy. Can keep the kids if he dose not show up when the order says?

Yes, you can, but before you do that. Why don't you discuss this with him. If it's too stressful to speak to him in person, call him on the phone or send him an email and hand him a copy of it when you see him.

Set visitation schedules are put in place for the convienence of both parties. Because they are reduced to a court order, they must be followed or the issue of contempt arises.
