Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband and I are going througha divorce. My children (12 & 15) want to stay with their dad. Their dad has vowed to fight for what they want and he wants full custody. I want to share custody but don't want to push my kids back & forth between two homes. I was told that a judge would ask the children where they want to stay and that would be the deciding factor. Although I don't want to force my kids to stay with me if they don't want to. I do want to be an active part of their lives and want shared custody. Will the court deny me that right even if my kids want to stay with their dad?

No, shared custody if well planned would be accepted by the court.
