Is jr College graduation before 23 years of age sufficient for ending child supp

My son is 22 (23 in 15 Dec) he is graduating from a Jr College this spring. He may 1. get married or 2. go on to a 4 year college or 3. get a job. If he chooses to continue to live at home with his mom, Which consitiutes a continuation or cesation of child support before he becomes 23?

College graduation for ending child support

You have to look at the court order to answer this question. If the court order indicates that child support will continue until he finishes college, then you would be responsible for child support during the summer. The usual definition of emancipation in Massachusetts includes stopping education and marriage. However, it is the words of your judgment that control.

If he marries, child-support stops.

If he goes to college, it continues. Doesn't matter that he lives at home.

If he gets a full-time job, it stops.
