Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Moving out of state with minor child

I'm currently laid off from work and have a job offer in another state. Can my ex-husband stop me from taking our daughter? Can he take me to court and get custody of her because I have a better job offer OR will the court allow me to go with the minor child as long as we work out visition?

Could you also provide me with attorney's in my area who could possible help?

Thank you

Chances are, you're going to need court permission to remove your child. Whether the court will grant that permission depends on a lot of information that you do not mention, and would be quite lengthy to speculate. If you cannot find an attorney in your area, try calling your county bar association for a referral.
