Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Moving out of state

I have read most of the postings but want to confirm. I have a 7 year old daughter and was never married to her father. We have no court appointed custody or child support, but he does see her and he does pay support. Can I move out of the state with out his permission? He recently moved out of state to NH but I am looking to move to Texas for more affordable housing. Thank you in advance.

Re: Moving out of state

You should retain an attorney to establish paternity and obtain a custody and support order and Court ordered permission to move out of state, upon showing it would be in the best interest of the child.
