Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I am currently paying child support for my 2 sons. My oldest graduated high school June 2013 and my youngest is graduating this june 2014. Do I need to file modification forms to stop paying support since neither child is going to college?

Thank you for your question. The better move is to file for modification, assuming that you meet the grounds for termination. It is sometimes said that it is better to be the plaintiff in a modification action than the defendant in a contempt action. Best of luck, and feel free to call our office to schedule a consultation if you would like to discuss next steps.
