A room mate moved out over a year ago and left some belongings. He never paid a storage fee. What are my rights to this property?

Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 200A (http://abpweb.tre.state.ma.us/abp/abp.htm), and related laws (Do an online search of Massachusetts abandoned property laws/regulations, etc.) set out a legal framework for dealing with certain scenarios of "abandoned" property.

You should read them closely and follow the procedures regarding notice (if any), etc.
