If an illegal immigrant in MA has a baby, does she become legal, is the baby legal or is neither considered legal in this country?

A child born in the USA is a US Citizen, irrespective of the parent's legal status. An illegal immigrant does not automatically acquire any status in the USA by having a US Citizen child, although he or she could qualify for certain forms of relief through the US Citizen child depending on the specific facts of each case.
