Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

I am being deployed in April and afraid to lose my apartment. My landlord said that they can throw me out if I go. I wouldn't mind if it was just me; however, I am a single mom and live in a section 8 program. I don't want to lose my place and not have a home for her when i get home. Does anyone know where I can look to get these laws. Or can they throw me out?

You should make an appointment immediately through your chain of command with the Legal Assistance Officer from the Judge Advocate General's Office that services your military unit and discuss your rights under the Uniform Services Civil Relief Act and under the Uniform Services Reemplyment Rights Act. This is a free service with a military lawyer to which you are entitled.

Thank you for your Service to our Country.
