Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

I own a condo with an assigned parking space. Myself and the person that parks behind me are in a very tight fit with the dumpster. My car has been hit three times, two of them hit an runs. The other parking spaces near the other dumpsters have more room than I do to back out. Is the association obligated to provide a parking spot that has enough room me to safely back my vehicle out of? They are bringing my concerns up at the next trustees meeting. I have asked them to move the dumpster so we have more room, allow me to park in visitor parking without fining me or assign me a new space.

Unless the condo rules say so, there is no option.

This is a matter that should have been considered when you bought the condo.

You can ask the association to change your spot.
