Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

How do I find an attorney for a real estate matter that will take a percentage of my winnings if I sue someonee and win, but not otherwise charge me? Is that fairly common?

As you are aware, legal fees in most states are fully negotiable. Fee arrangements include "flat fees", contingency fees. and hourly billings. The fee agreement will more likely be based on the type of case, the difficulty of providing beneficial legal services, and the likelihood of success.

Many real property disputes are handled on an hourly billing basis. Even in victory, a contigency agreement may prove difficult for lawyer and client (particularly in a later dispute).

This Office offers free initial consultation to evaluate certain meritorious real property matters. Good Luck.

It depends on the nature of the contest. The issue is not necessarily the type but the damage in which you are trying to make yourself whole, the expenses of litigation, and the liability apportionment.

Without a review of the foregoing, an attorney could not even begin to gauge his desire to be involved.
