registered land certificate

i inherited a house and was told that the property was registered land and i need a certificate with my name on it to get a mortage. what type of ceritifate is this and where or how do i get one.

A Certificate of title which is obtained from the land court upon submitting evidence the property passed to you from the estate of the decedent. Good Luck!
